The firm has been involved in a variety of engineering, environmental, surveying, and planning projects since its inception, ranging from mining development; commercial, industrial and subdivision development; public utility services; boundary and topographic surveys; water line and waste water systems, U. PTSI prides itself in providing services that meet the financial and scheduled needs of clients, while adhering to a high standard of professional management, procedures and technical specifications in order to protect the interests of clients and the professional stature of the company. PTSI utilizes state of the art GPS systems which enable it to efficiently and accurately perform the many and varied engineering tasks that the mining community requires.

In addition, PTSI prides itself in being able to offer its clients not only quality engineering and technical support, but also has the expertise and experienced staff to supply small to medium sized operations with the administrative support that today’s mining industry must have. PTSI can handle all aspects of mining projects from concept to final reclamation. We have many years of experience in dealing with all aspects of the mining process and we stand ready to put our experience to work for those clients who can benefit from these services. From financing a project by the provision of reserve and property analysis, to all required permitting processes, to handling accounts receivable and coal sales, PTSI can serve as the administrative arm for its clients from start to finish on their mining related projects.

Most recently, PTSI has initiated new additional services to our repertoire as a compliment to the engineering and administrative function. We now through a sister company, Pike Mining Services, LLC can actually perform final reclamation activities, pond and road construction and violation field abatement. We also now offer overflight photography to our clients who wish to have their projects recorded in pictures. This service can be arranged by contacting us at least a week prior to the desired flight date.
